Testing

Dr. Berry provides psychological evaluations for individuals age 6 – 65 to assess cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and personality functioning. The goal of the evaluation is to get a better idea of what is going on, develop a plan, and make recommendations that can help. Dr. Berry does not currently provide educational evaluations or testing for autism. Typical reasons for referral include the following:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  • Mood disorders including depression and/or anxiety
  • Assessment of the effects of trauma, adoption, and/or attachment issues
  • Psychosis
  • Other significant emotional/behavioral issues.

Insurance does not reimburse for educational testing, so Dr. Berry refers to the school system to complete this testing if indicated by the Child Study Team.

Full psychological evaluation includes intake, psychological testing, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and feedback session.

*Individuals using their insurance will be provided with an estimate of the cost prior to the first session, as determined by their insurance company and type of policy.
